After posting the last post, the post(article/tweet) list has spanned two pages.

Milestone.

The cache is on now. Not only the WordPress system can cache the content, but also notify the CDN to purge relative pages when a post is posted, edited ,deleted.

Now the cache time is set to be 5 minutes on the CDN, for the index page and URLs with a ‘.html’ suffix.

Added:

Because of the cache, all visitors can see the same content as what the Admin user can see, if the Admin user happens to visit the page when there’s no cache or the cache has expired, in this case, the CDN will make the Admin user version as the cache.

So i deleted the cache rules of the dynamic content, but the static files(images, .js, .css, etc.) can still get cached.

It’s a bit rainy today after work, so we can see more vehicles on the road than usual.

Changed the theme from ‘Wing'(by biji.io) to ‘Twenty Sixteen'(by WordPress).

Simple, clean, enough.

Added:

Realized it supports the post type ‘Aside’.

No wonder the admin pages are so dark on my mobile phone that I can barely see the content, just found my Firefox has enabled the Dark Reader add-on.

It’s not easy to find a perfect WordPress theme. You always need to make many adjustments to it.

So, just let it go.

Maybe Hugo is simple, but too simple, making it complicated.

So I’d better stick to WordPress.
