What is the best part of Yahoo News compared to other news aggregation App?

When a user clicks a title in the news list, Yahoo News just show the full content directly, without jumping to a browser(internal or external), then loading the content from a URL slowly, which is the behavior of, say, Google News.

That’s because Yahoo can store the contents from third-party news publishers, which is probably through commercial contacts. But Google takes another approach, only showing the titles and excerpts. If users want to read the   full content, they just need to go to the third-party web site.

I haven’t caught up with the development of E-Ink technology for a long time. Today, I just got to know Gallery 3, a new implementation of color screen.

It has a much better display performance compared to Kaleido 3. But it also has a weakness: a much lower refreshing rate.

I randomly found an reading App called Tipsoon yesterday, which presents a random short article each time at a swipe. The content is useful and fun, and the user interaction is simple and smooth.

I paid 128 yuan for a 4-year VIP membership today. It’s not only because it gives me access to the exclusive VIP content, and I also want to give a support to the design principle behind this App: being useful and simple in the meantime.

It’s a great idea to mix coffee with orange juice, and yes, I mean Luckin Coffee.

Microsoft Copilot apparently does a better job when it comes to the language knowledge of English, compared to some(if not all) famous AI tools from Chinese companies.

Which is understandable, after all, it’s from an American comany.

Today is Saturday. We don’t need to go to work.

It’s still raining today, a bit harder than yesterday. People need to use umbrellas to go outside.

Haven’t written anything yet today.

In an effort to improve the security of this site, I made several modifications to the WordPress and CDN settings. But it turned out that these changes actually increased the risk. Consequently, I had to revert all the changes.

Although these efforts seem in vain, I have at least gained some valuable experience.

Writing is like running, you may get addicted to it.

Today is a sunny day, but yesterday it was raining almost the whole day, though not heavily.

Added:

It’s got much hotter after noon, just as if summer has made a comeback.

I walked for a while, now I’m feeling a little sweaty.

I have built several blog sites before(almost with WordPress), from many years ago. None of them last too long. There’s only one reason: I couldn’t write serious articles consistently. Not for me, also for most bloggers.

But this time, I’ve found it much easier to maintain a blog site. If you don’t expect other people to visit the blog, you don’t need to be too serious about the content. It can be short, even meaningless. And as you keep writing, you’ll find writing itself become easier, there are a lot of things to say, to decribe, to dig into.
